The Art of Falconry
Falconry is the art of training and hunting with birds of prey. It is one of the oldest forms of hunting, practiced for thousands of years across cultures from Asia to Europe and the Middle East.
In 2016, UNESCO recognized falconry as an Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity.
The Story Behind Our Logo
Our logo was inspired by the Seal of Charlemagne. Our ancestor Charlemagne (Karolus Magnus) and his grandfather Charles Martel (Charles The Hammer) lived at a time in the Early Middle Ages when Falconry was starting to become very popular in Western Europe. They believed that every gentleman in the kingdom should be trained in the art of Falconry. More than 1200 years later, we are deeply grateful to be able to carry on the legacy of these incredible men and share their heritage both by craft and by blood.
